Sad news.

Between the Christmas and the end of the year 2018, citizens of upper Kaslo reported several times seeing a cougar walking in the streets and yards of the village at night. A Conservation officer was invited. By the mid January 2019, two of the cubs, very likely of the family that visited us in August, were dead, shot by the authorities.
